João Ribeiro

Psychiatrist, PhD in cognitive sciences and post-graduate in expressive arts therapy. Co-founder of Liminal Minds, the first psychedelic and ketamine assisted therapy clinic in Portugal. He previously led the implementation of ketamine-assisted therapy at Hospital Beatriz Ângelo and worked in group therapy and psychiatric recovery. He co-created the project Consultas Sem Paredes (“Consultations in Living Spaces”) at Manicómio and seeks new imaginaries for mental health. He is an associate researcher at the Centre for Philosophy of Science of the University of Lisbon, where he looks at the metaphysical possibility that psychedelic experience reveals imperceptible realities.
