Clinical and Health Psychologist, Member of the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association (OPP) with an Advanced Specialisation in Psychotherapy, Master in Helping Relationship by ISPA, with certified training in Transpersonal and Existential Psychotherapy, Focusing-Oriented Therapy and EMDR. In 2020 he joined the Champalimaud Foundation’s neuropsychiatry team as one of the lead psychotherapists in the Compass clinical trial on the efficacy and safety of psilocybin in patients with refractory depression, training at that time in MDMA-Assisted Therapy by MAPS and Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy by Compass. He works at Liminal Minds providing psychedelic-assisted therapy.
