Full member of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses.
Psychotherapist graduated by the Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association (AP).
Carlina has worked for the Portuguese Victim Support Association (APAV) for 13 years as a clinical psychologist and manager of the Cascais Victim Support Office. She supervised internships and participated in social network and Local Security Council meetings.
Carolina attended the Open Psychotherapeutic Group at Hospital Júlio de Matos, led by Dr. António Bento.
In 2022 she joined Romão de Sousa Foundation and attended Open Dialogue training with the British APOD Team.
In September 2023 Carolina took part in the Living Learning Experience Workshops in Vancouver, British Columbia, hosted by the International Network of Living Learning Experiences in partnership with Growing Better Lives and the Hank Nunn Institute. She is Board Member of the International Network of Democratic Therapeutic Communities.
